This Cookie Notice explains how mbckids.club (operated by mabellacalice OÜ, trading as MBC Kids Club) uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site work properly, keep you logged in, and keep your session secure. Similar technologies (such as local storage) work in comparable ways.
1. Strictly necessary cookies
We use cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Website and your account. These typically include:
- Session and login cookies set by our membership platform, so you stay logged in and can access your content.
- Security cookies that help protect the site and your account.
- Functional cookies needed for core features such as checkout (for example, those set by our payment processor to process your payment securely).
Under EU rules, strictly necessary cookies like these do not require your consent, because the Website cannot function without them.
2. Website statistics – Independent Analytics (no cookies)
For website statistics we use Independent Analytics, a self-hosted tool that runs entirely within our own WordPress system. It does not set any cookies, does not send data to third parties, and stores no directly identifying personal data. Because it sets no cookies and shares nothing externally, it does not require your consent. We use it only to understand, in aggregate, how the Website is used so we can improve it.
3. Embedded third-party content – YouTube and Instagram (consent required)
Some pages may include embedded content such as YouTube videos or an Instagram feed. When this content loads, the provider (Google/YouTube or Meta/Instagram) can set its own cookies and receive data about your visit, including your IP address. These are non-essential cookies.
Where we use such embeds, we load them only after you give consent through our cookie banner. Until you consent, the embedded content is blocked and these cookies are not set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie settings on the Website. Each provider’s own privacy policy then applies to the data it collects.
4. Managing your cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and set your browser to warn you before accepting them. For non-essential cookies (the embeds above), you can also use the cookie settings on the Website to give or withdraw consent. Because the strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to work, blocking them may stop parts of the Website – such as logging in or checkout – from functioning.

We may update this notice as our use of cookies changes – for example when we switch on embedded content or add new features. The date below shows when it was last revised.
